Standardized testing holds students back in the long run. Students spend an entire year learning what is on a test to meet standards for information they only learn to forget. Taking the initiative to teach and retain doesn't happen when students are only focused on meeting yearly test standards.

A big disadvantage of standardized testing is that it’s easy to interpret a student’s score as the sole judgement of that student’s ability. We’re constantly emphasizing at Whitby that the number is only one point of data within an array of internal assessments across many subject areas that provide us with information on a student’s learning progress. Control Jake’s movements as he speeds along the railway tracks in Subway Surfers. Keep a lookout for oncoming trains and obstacles. Take part in the in-game events and stand a chance to gain exclusive rewards and even new items! Climb up the global ranks and show the world who’s the best!
